WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

The course covers how to use an automated external defibrillator in different scenarios. In the UK, one person suffers a heart attack every two minutes.  A public access programme has enabled trained individuals to use defibrillators in public places   and many lives have been saved by this campaign.  Many shops, offices and public buildings have invested in defibrillator training to enable staff to use these AED’s prior to the ambulance arriving – thus ensuring that the casualty has the best possible chance of survival.
